Spring Inspired Desk

It's spring fever.
That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain

Well I know exactly what I want...some warm weather.
I'm going to vent for a second...I HATE THIS WINDY WEATHER!
Okay...ahhh...Now that thats out of the way. Here is a little something I worked on while I was without a computer.
Something inspired by the sring that I am craving.
I picked her up off of craigslist right around the corner from my house SCORE!
And gave her a little over haul...did I say little I meant BIG.
She was this horrible color "puky yellow" so I sanded her down and took a hammer and chisel literally to her nasty emblems...whew they left their mark for sure, hence the reason I used wallpaper to line her drawer fronts...
Quite pretty if I do say so myself!
(psssst...I might just keep this one;)
I'm gonna be partaaaayin over here! (join me)

This desk looks amazing! I didn't realize there was a whole community of bloggers out there interested in the same rehab and reusing that I am interested in. And funny, too-- your desk looks very similar to one I found sitting out by the trash (GASP!!!), and is in the middle of getting a sanding down. Your desk inspires me to try some designs other than just doing a standard white!!
