Ombre Dresser

I'm so not over Ombre! just sayin... I've been just a little bit busy this past week. One of the things I finished up was this dresser...
Here it is before..
I picked it up at a yard sale forever ago...and finally found its glory! picked a range of my favorite colors, and painted the body a nice clean white...I love it! Ombre may be out for most of you out there...but I've been wanting to do it for awhile now...so here is one more after pic
Thanks for sticking around through my ruts!

Cute little Catch all

This cute little catch all can be used anywhere...seriously anywhere

My hubby picked this up for me at a yard sale awhile ago. Here it is before...

I took out the little glass pieces and replaced them with some thin pieces of wood that I gave a few coats of chalkboard paint...
cute huh!
It got a fresh coat of my go to white, inside and out...
Ready to go!

DIY Pantry Renovation!

The time has come to reveal our new pantry, that use to be our laundry room...ugh I know right...

Step 1 (put up the tracks *notice the water hook-ups for laundry, didn't want to permanently cover, so I made a door with hinges to cover, just in case)

Step 2 (arrange the shelves for the most space*note they go all the way up to the ceiling)

Step 3 ( install counter and storage below)

Step 4 (fill it up)
It has been done for some time now...but Home Depot kinda sucks when it comes to special orders...Hello one month later, and they didn't even call me, I had to call them...ugh

And now after a very impatient waiting period, here it is... I ♥ it, I ♥ them! Super organized, and Super lovely! With everything stored in its own place...I have mucho more counter space... and it gave Hubby the chance to try something too...yep Concrete Countertops...they are still curing, and will be ready to glaze soon, so stick around for that! Freakin Awesome!
Compared to the quote I originally got from Closet World, I think we payed seriously 1/4 of the price. The total for everything to redo our pantry was under $400....Mainly because thanks to Lowes for having a reset sale...only on the stuff we needed...It definitely pays to shop around!
Drum roll please!

Isn't it Awesome! I think so too! just a little bit of touch up painting to do, then 100% done!
We had to order the doors special..because the standard size was something like 1/4 inch too large to fit in the opening...Silly people who re-did the kitchen. I got them to match all the interior doors in the house... like these

Here was one of my inspirations...

The moral of this story is...Don't be lazy, you can do anything you put your mind and heart to...Go out and do it...oooh and save some major money at the same time :)

Glass Container Pretty-fied

What a little spray paint can do.....is amazing! I believe it is my new best friend. Sorry Hot rollers...but you have now been replaced.

Before

After

Pulled together for $1.00. I sprayed it a satin nickel finish (already had) and some cotton balls transfered from their sad little bag...to their new pretty home! Only took me about 30 min. Now thats and easy project!

Oh So Sleek chest of drawers make over

Like new chest of drawers

Didn't it turn out pretty. Not sure if it's going to stay there or find a new home yet...we'll see. Ooooh and theres a little peek of the lamp I got last week...not done yet.
All I did with this was sand it pretty thoroughly, take off the knobs, prime and paint with the same "espresso" color as my curio cabinet. I also painted the knobs a satin finish nickel color.
Before. notice the pale pink color, and diamond sponging technique on the drawers...mmmmhmmm?
After.

Ahhhhh so sleek and perdie!

This little guy cost me $12.50 total. I already had the paint from previous projects. And took me 1 day...with drying times included.
I'm pretty excited to add it to my home.
