Sunny Yellow Chevron Table

This little gal is ready for some sun! I got this table a while ago, and was going to restore it, to its natural design...but do you ever get into one of those moods where you just want to cut something up...well thats what happened...so I cut it up...and it looks great!
Here is the before...
Here is what I (well hubby) cut off...
And what it looked like after...upside down but you get the pic...right?
A fresh couple coats of my FAV white, and some chevron stripes...
May I say this part was a pain in my rear end...after a few trial runs, hubby and I decided to just make a stencil out of cardboard...worked great!
Then used 2 in painters tape...And painted a thin coat of a super sunny yellow
And her sunny debut!
Sanded her down alot...I wanted the look of alot of wear and tear...
Sorry about all the pics...I just love the way she turned out!
Ooooh so I'm going to partaaay-ing at these places! (join me)

I'm in love! I love the yellow and it looks fabulous. I thought of doing this on a table I found on the curb, but couldn't figure out the measurements as quickly as I wanted, so I went to Plan B. Well done!

Hey, first off, LOVE this table. Second, you asked me how about adding molding to my backsplash and I did add it at the bottom of the cabinets. And I just taped it off next to the window and painted a line straight across from the bottom of the cabinets to the window. DOes that make sense? It seems like it might not. ha ha! Hope it does!
