Such a pretty lil thing!
After one of my weekly trips to my favorite thrift stores, I came home with this lil gal!
She was sad...missing some hardware, and all alone!
So first I chopped the molding down on the bottom. For some reason...it was sticking out, and really just looked funny...
Then I gave her a few coats of Black Spray paint in Satin Finish.
but...she needed a little more, I had been debating for awhile on what to do...Until one day while strolling the aisles of Joanns, I spotted this great scrapbook paper, in a lace pattern...I just knew It would be perfect!
So I cut it to fit the face of the drawers, taped....and spay painted, a cream color.
The pattern didn't come out as crisp as I had imagined...so Hey when life gives you lemons...you make lemonade right?
I sanded it up a bit...and added a slightly tinted glaze over the pattern, and added some glass knobs...
And here we go...the finished product!
Not bad, if I do say so myself :)

So beautiful! I LOVE this...but then again, I love everything that you make!!! Great job!
Not bad at all Nikki, in fact you are getting really good at this stuff.
You are on a roll with your finds and redos. I have been looking for over a month for a dresser that is about 27 inches wide for my entry. Can't find one anywhere that is the right size or price. Our thrift stores are a joke and sometimes our garage sales are too. I am glad you are finding good stuff and making it fabulous.
I like the way you make lemonade!! It is so sweet!
I always thought it was "I believe when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade...and try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party."
Shows what I know.
p.s. how cute is that lacy dresser?
What a fabulous, original idea. I absolutely love it!
I love how you got the pattern on there :) I adore a good furniture redo. You did an awesome job!
I love the look the lace pattern gave it. Very interesting and different.
So pretty! Maybe spraying the back of the lacy paper with low-tack adhesive might give you a crisper look next time? I'm going to have to try this one.
Great job! I love it!
What a cool way to go. I love this idea.
